Founded and incorporated in 2002 by Darrin McElroy, Environmental Construction Group is known throughout the Demolition and Abatement industry for our exceptional work and an industry low EMR safety record (.63).
ECG is a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) certified by the State of California and several Federal, State and Local agencies. Throughout our 10 years operating in California, we have provided the following contracting services for residential and commercial housing, corporate high rises, government agencies, industrial facilities, hospitals, schools and universities, retail shopping centers, airports and marine ports.

Our management team combined has over 50 years of experience in the Abatement and Demolition industry with continual growth each year. We are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients by working closely with engineers, consultants and owners to design and manage every project from pre-construction phases to final completion safely and successfully. Throughout the past 10 years we have completed over $65,000,000 in contracts with incomparable success.
With safety as our first and foremost priority our field supervision and personnel follow the latest safety techniques and procedures available. All employees maintain regulatory Asbestos, Lead and Mold training certifications and are provided proper health & safety, medical surveillance and drug screening to ensure zero accidents or injuries. Our office and field personnel work closely together to guarantee each projects site specific health & safety plan is in place and understood by all parties prior to any work being performed. We have also partnered with one of the leading risk management companies in Southern California to ensure our projects are covered in every aspect.
Our company is always striving to better ourselves by strengthening and forming relationships with new companies, agencies and organizations. ECG is an active member of the Association of General Contractors (AGC) Los Angeles Chapter and Building Industry Association (BIA) Los Angeles Chapter. It is also why our company donates to over 20 different charities annually, including, big brothers big sisters, muscular dystrophy association, the cancer society, california firefighters, california police activities league and several other organizations.
